from Q&A with KnAKṛṣṇa answers the natural wish for something to hold on to: “I am the taste in water, the light in the moon and the sun, the sacred syllable Om in all the Vedas, the sound in ether, the manliness in men.” These are the first of the vibhūtis that will fill Canto 10. He is not “somewhere” to be found; he is the essence, the very quality that makes each thing itself — the wetness that makes water water, the shining that makes the sun the sun. The meditator is given, in each of these, a concrete handhold by which to feel the one Presence in the ordinary world.
