7.7“There is nothing higher than Me.”

“There is nothing whatever higher than Me; all this is strung on Me like rows of gems on a thread.” The image is the key. The thread runs unseen through every bead and holds the whole necklace together, yet is itself not any bead. So the one Reality runs through every being and thing, holding the world in coherence, while remaining distinct from each particular. “Nothing higher” is not a territorial claim of supremacy; it is the statement that there is nothing outside or beyond the Whole — for there is no “outside” the Whole.
