“The unintelligent think of Me, the Unmanifest, as having come into manifestation, not knowing My higher, imperishable, unsurpassed nature.” The error named here is precisely the one warned against in the Introduction: to take Kṛṣṇa for “just another human,” a mere manifest personality, and to miss the changeless Reality wearing that form. The form is real, but it is the tip; the deluded grasp the tip and deny the iceberg. The whole of Canto 7 is written to correct this by degrees.
