padārthaMeaning — Questions & Solutions
from Q&A with KnA“I shall declare to you this knowledge together with its realisation (jñāna and vijñāna), knowing which nothing further remains to be known.” This is not a boast about a vast encyclopaedia of facts. It is the Upaniṣadic promise that there is one thing by knowing which all is known — as by knowing clay one knows all pots, or by knowing gold all ornaments. To know the one Reality of which all things are forms is to hold the key to every particular, not by listing them but by seeing their common ground. After That, other knowledge remains useful but no longer essential to one's peace.
