from Q&A with KnAOf the four who worship him — the distressed, the seeker of wealth, the inquirer, and the wise (7.16) — “the jñānī, ever-steadfast, of single devotion, excels; for I am exceedingly dear to the wise, and he is dear to Me.” All four are honoured; none is turned away. But the first three come to Kṛṣṇa for something — relief, gain, understanding — while the jñānī comes for Kṛṣṇa himself, wanting nothing else.
