from Q&A with KnA“Some behold the Self in the self by the self through meditation (dhyānena); others by the Yoga of discrimination (sāṅkhyena yogena); others by the Yoga of action (karma-yogena).” And (13.25) “yet others, not knowing thus, worship on hearing from others — and they too cross beyond death, devoted to what they have heard.” The Gītā’s characteristic breadth: there is no single mandatory door. The meditative, the analytical, the active and even the simply faithful (those who trust the teaching heard from a teacher) all reach the same Self. Even śraddhā alone — faith in the word rightly received — ferries one across. No temperament is disqualified.
