Some realize the Self in their intellect through meditation, others through Sankhya-Yoga, and still others through Karma-Yoga, with the help of the internal organ.

कोई पुरुष ध्यान के अभ्यास से आत्मा को आत्मा (हृदय) में आत्मा (शुद्ध बुद्धि) के द्वारा देखते हैं; अन्य लोग सांख्य योग के द्वारा तथा कोई साधक कर्मयोग से (आत्मा को देखते हैं )।।

13.24‘Seeing’: by meditation, by discrimination, by action, by devotion.

“Some behold the Self in the self by the self through meditation (dhyānena); others by the Yoga of discrimination (sāṅkhyena yogena); others by the Yoga of action (karma-yogena).” And (13.25) “yet others, not knowing thus, worship on hearing from others — and they too cross beyond death, devoted to what they have heard.” The Gītā’s characteristic breadth: there is no single mandatory door. The meditative, the analytical, the active and even the simply faithful (those who trust the teaching heard from a teacher) all reach the same Self. Even śraddhā alone — faith in the word rightly received — ferries one across. No temperament is disqualified.
