from Q&A with KnA9.11“Fools despise Me, clothed in human form.”
“The deluded despise Me, dwelling in the human form, not knowing My higher nature as the great Lord of beings.” This is the direct restatement of the Introduction's central caution and of 7.24. Seeing only Kṛṣṇa the man — the cowherd, the charioteer — and missing the Reality he is, the deluded slight the very presence they stand before. The error is universal: we constantly mistake the vessel for what it carries, the wave for the ocean, the person for the Self.
