They call Him who has been mentioned as the Unmanifested, the Immutable, the supreme Goal. That is the supreme abode of Mine, from which they do not return once they reach it.

हिन्दी अनुवाद — Swami Tejomayānanda

जो अव्यक्त अक्षर कहा गया है, वही परम गति (लक्ष्य) है। जिसे प्राप्त होकर (साधकगण) पुनः (संसार को) नहीं लौटते, वह मेरा परम धाम है।।

8.21“My eternal abode — the Akṣara.”

“Beyond even that Unmanifest is another Unmanifest, eternal, which does not perish when all beings perish” (8.20). “That Unmanifest, called the Imperishable (Akṣara), is declared the supreme goal; reaching which they return no more — that is My supreme abode” (8.21). The point is subtle and crucial: even the cosmic Unmanifest, out of which worlds pour and into which they subside, is still within the cycle of appearance and disappearance. Behind it stands the Akṣara, which is untouched by any cycle. That, and not any heaven, is the final home; and from it there is no falling back.
