Translation

As a result of reaching Me, the exalted ones who have attained the highest perfection do not get rebirth, which is an abode of sorrows and is impermanent.

8.15No rebirth?

“Having reached Me, the great souls are not born again in this impermanent abode of suffering, for they have attained the highest perfection.” This is the promised end of the whole road: release from the compulsory round of saṁsāra. It is not annihilation but the cessation of the driven, forgetful re-embodiment that the ordinary soul undergoes (contrast 4.5). The “impermanent abode of sorrow” is not condemned as evil but recognised as unstable; one is not made to hate the world, only released from being helplessly recycled through it.
