from Q&A with KnAAnd then a final ascent: “of all yogis, the one who, full of faith, worships Me with his inmost self absorbed in Me — him I hold to be the most united of all (yuktatama).” Having just crowned the yogi above ascetic, scholar and ritualist, Kṛṣṇa crowns, above the yogi himself, the loving devotee. Knowledge without love can stay cold; here the warmth of bhakti is named the very summit of union. It is the note on which the whole first six chapters end, and the door through which the next six — on the nature of that “Me” — are entered.
