from The Thematic Companion to the Bhagavad GītāMeaning — Questions & Solutions
from Q&A with KnA6.4A new entity — the Yogārūḍha.
“When one is attached neither to sense-objects nor to actions, having renounced all saṅkalpas, then he is said to be established in Yoga (yogārūḍha).” The word means “one who has climbed onto Yoga” — no longer climbing but arrived, seated on the peak. The single test given is the renunciation of all saṅkalpa: not the absence of action, but the absence of the ego's private agenda behind it. He wants nothing from the world and clings to nothing he does.
