Translation

“With the self united by yoga, seeing the same everywhere, he beholds the Self in all beings and all beings in the Self.” This is the social and moral fruit of meditation, and its test. A yoga that ends in private calm but leaves one indifferent to others has stopped short. When the one Self is truly seen, the wall between “mine” and “yours” thins, and compassion follows not as a commanded virtue but as a natural consequence of vision.
