Since I am transcendental to the mutable and above even the immutable, therefore I am well known in the world and in the Vedas as the supreme Person.

15.18Knowing this, how does one become omniscient?

“Because I transcend the perishable, and am higher even than the imperishable, therefore I am celebrated in the world and in the Veda as the Puruṣottama (the Supreme Person).” And (15.19): “He who, undeluded, thus knows Me as the Supreme Person, knows all (sarva-vit), and worships Me with his whole being (sarva-bhāvena).” How does knowing one thing confer knowing all? Because Puruṣottama is the root of both the perishable and the imperishable — the source of the field and of the witness. To know the root is to know, in principle, everything that springs from it (recall 7.2, “knowing which, nothing remains to be known”). And note the fruit of this supreme knowledge is not mere information but sarva-bhāvena bhajati — total, whole-hearted worship. Once again, the highest knowing flowers into the fullest loving. The chapter, and the philosophy, come to rest not in a theorem but in adoration.
