Translation

Swami Gambhīrānanda · follows Śaṅkara-bhāṣya

Supreme Bliss comes to this yogi alone whose mind has become perfectly tranquil, whose quality of rajas has been eliminated, who has become identified with Brahman, and is untainted.

जिसका मन प्रशान्त है, जो पापरहित (अकल्मषम्) है और जिसका रजोगुण (विक्षेप) शांत हुआ है, ऐसे ब्रह्मरूप हुए इस योगी को उत्तम सुख प्राप्त होता है।।

6.27One who has become Brahman.

“Supreme bliss comes to the yogi whose mind is at peace, whose passion is stilled, who has become Brahman (brahma-bhūta), free from taint.” Once more, “becoming Brahman” is not a transformation into something foreign but the settling of the mind into its own ground, where the disturbance of rajas has subsided. The bliss is not manufactured; it is what is always there, uncovered when the ripples die down.
