from Q&A with KnA“Those who, fixing their minds on Me, ever-steadfast, endowed with supreme faith, worship Me — them I hold to be the most perfect in Yoga (yukta-tamāḥ).” K does seem to lean towards the personal path — but the reason is practical, not partisan, as the next verses show. He is not saying the formless goal is false or lower in itself; he is saying that for embodied human beings the path of loving devotion to a personal God is surer and gentler. The “bias” is a physician’s, choosing the more effective medicine for the patient actually in front of him.
